Just a reminder that the NPS begins "PROCESSING" reservations on April 1st. Based on past experience, it sometimes take 3 weeks to get the "initial reservation load" through the office. Please be patient, as there is a LARGE PILE of reservations.
If you've put a reservation in and get a call from a ranger, that probably means there is a problem with your permit request or credit card. To speed things up, return the call ASAP, or provide a reliable contact number. The "phone tag" scenario impedes the activation of your permit.
There are no phone reservations. All reservations must be submitted by fax or mail.
